Dr. Porter Brown is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College located in Toronto. His undergraduate degree is in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta located in Edmonton, Alberta. When you see Dr. Brown for treatment, he will employ a multimodal approach to your care. This means he will combine all the knowledge and education he has learned from his Doctor of Chiropractic, Kinesiology, and the numerous additional courses and seminars he has attended. Originally from Thunder Bay, Porter and his wife decided to move back home to it in 2016. They both have fond memories of growing up in Thunder Bay and wished to be near family and friends. While attending the U of A, Porter played CIS football for the Golden Bears. This experience sparked his interest in the preparation, recovery, and rehabilitation that is required of the body. Porter lives an active lifestyle that includes movement training and Kettlebell strength and conditioning. He is a firm believer that movement and exercise are a requirement for a healthy lifestyle. He participates in local basketball and touch football leagues and leisurely plays beach volleyball and disc golf at Boulevard Lake. Porter understands the importance of community, which is why he is involved with numerous volunteer events around the city.
